The Brikbag from BeOrganised is a one stop, simple but genius solution to those “ahhhh LEGO ow ow ow,” moments. I reviewed this with the help of Liam, my 4 year old. He is at the age where he loves building things, but is feeling grown up and wants to take on more responsibility, so the Brikbag makes it really easy for him to keep it from under foot. He simply loosens the rope and spreads out the mat, and when he is done he pulls it up. He can’t quite manage to do it all by himself, but the mat gives him clear boundaries to keep all the bricks on, so I just help him tighten the rope. The Brikbag is made of a sturdy denim with a rope to close it. It won’t rip or tear on sharp corners of the bricks. It also comes with a few options- red, yellow or green rope, and the Busy City design print comes in red and yellow- perfect for little ones. One thing I would like to see is some fun designs especially for girls- my 3 year old loves duplo, and I would love so see it come in her favourite colour purple and butterflies or flower prints for her blocks. The Brikbag has more uses than just for bricks! I had a bit of a play when Liam was at preschool, it’s perfect for his wooden train set, his cars collection, my daughter’s barbies, the list could go on.
