After scaling the net to try and find a cute ‘big sister’ t-shirt I was un-impressed to say the least. I found a few american sites and a few very ugly looking Aussie sites. All the shirts where priced from $20-40 and they were very plain and boring. I was very tempted to just buy from Etsy but decided I couldn’t wait 4 weeks to share the news with my hubby!(see video announcement below)

So I set out to our local craft store. We found some plastic stick on scrap booking letters, flowers and some fabric glue. All for $8!

Next we went to Kmart and got some $3 plain tshirts. All we had to do was glue on the letters and flowers!

Some other great ideas are-

  • stencil and spray dye
  • get your little one to colour in a tshirt with fabric pens
  • stamps and fabric paint
