Drool Jewels review

When we look at our babies, see the chain of drool hanging from their little chins, see their rosy cheeks and runny noses, often we assume it is teething time.. again! This assumption is confirmed when everything within arms reach goes straight into their mouth to be gnawed on. Sometimes it is a bitten finger, or a bitten breast that ends up as a casualty, either way we’d like to avoid those little chompers clenching down on our bodies! Here is a stylish and practical solution!

Drool Jewels create a range silicone teething jewellery for mums to wear. We enjoyed using one of their necklaces knowing that it was completely safe for my son to chew on and that it complies with the Australian/New Zealand Safety Standards. All items from Drool Jewels are BPA free – tick! They are also free from phthalates, PVC, cadmium and lead. I was pleased to see that these nasty additives were excluded from the jewellery as we often don’t realise the potential hazard they can have for both mums and babies, particularly items that are designed to be chewed on.

These colourful necklaces are certainly an affordable option for mums and they come in a variety of styles, including bracelets to coordinate your outfit. My son enjoyed having free reign on my necklace and enjoyed turning it round to chew on each bead as he pleased, I also received many comments whilst wearing my Drool Jewels necklace as most people couldn’t believe it was made from silicon.

After your baby has had a good chew on your jewellery, cleaning it is a breeze, pop it in some warm soapy water, or even better, place it in the top rack of your dishwasher, done! A great item to make any mum feel feminine whilst providing entertainment and relief for her child.
