HuggleBib review

Oh I needed the HuggleBib 10 months ago when we started introducing solids! I think the Baby Led Weaning parents out there will particularly like this product, but it’s great for anyone who has a baby or toddler who is self-feeding.

The HuggleBib is a clever, extra-long bib that covers not only the chest but the lower torso AND lap too. Its is fabulous for protecting special clothes when eating out, and excellent for protecting highchair and pram straps from smooshed-in food too. Most importantly, I love it cos my toddler has a tendency to wipe his grubby hands on his lap or stomach when he’s eating – now he’s wiping onto the HuggleBib though, and not staining his clothes.

Until I found the HuggleBib I always used a rubber pelican bib (the type that is supposed to catch dropped food), but I find the HuggleBib much better because the pelican bibs sometimes close in on themselves. You don’t have to worry about that with the HuggleBib.

Its made from cotton – a sturdy, double layered construction with simple press clasp closures, including snaps around the legs which is what helps ensure the HuggleBib stays in place across bub’s lap. Once meal time is complete simply pop the lap clasps, roll it up (collecting dropped food in the process), undo the neck clasp and dispose of the scraps. Hey presto.

You’ll find yourself saving heaps of time (and stain remover) with this great product. I highly recommend you head on over to www.hugglebib.com.au to check it out for yourself, and choose your favourite colour(s) from the colourful range.
