My name label review

Pink-Things-Banner

With my eldest child off to primary school next year, we are gearing up for the labeling of absolutely everything- including each sock, shoe, hat, shirt, jumper, lunch boxes- the list of stuff we need to label is seriously exhaustive!

The preschool pack, from My Name Label has made everything so easy- it consists of 40 big stickers, 40 small stickers, 6 pairs shoe labels, 1 bag tag, 25 standard iron-on clothing labels and 40 mini iron-on clothing labels (navy blue lettering).
and so has everything you ever need for the first year of school and even for a couple of years later. The iron on patches make it easy to label all items of clothing with no sewing! With 3 kids, who has time to sew labels on? The shoe labels will also help him recognise his own shoes- his teacher has said as silly as it seems, they often do take their shoes off and the little kids just don’t reconsider which pair or even shoe is there when they all look the same.

The kit came either come in your choice of colours or as an assortment. Either way, the colours are beautiful and bright. And they have a great choice of pictures to accompany them, which make it easy for non readers to recognise their gear.

Liam has had a great time helping me label his stuff, and I’m glad that I’ve got the labels so I know that the uniforms I just spent a small fortune on will be easily identified as his. And the brilliant thing is, when he outgrows them I can easily remove and switch to a new My Name Label for his sister- something that you can’t do if you use a labelling pen on them.
