I love love love these swaddles. It really doesn’t get any easier than this!

I’ll start with the ergoCocoon Air from Oopsie.com.au (pictured above). I was very excited to review this one! It is such a great idea because you don’t have to worry about wrapping, zips or escaping arms. The only thing you need to know about this one is, don’t put it on head first. You just scrunch it up and slide it up their body feet first. The print is just adorable and also comes in orange. I found my 5 week old was so calm in it and was able to put himself to sleep without mush fuss. I was disappointed that it only fit him comfortably for a couple of weeks, but he is a big baby. The material is quite stretchy so it allows their legs to frog and fall outwards and breathe easily. The cocoon air is made from bamboo and I am a huge fan of bamboo! You can change their nappy easily because of the slit at the bottom. It has two popper buttons at the neck to stop their arms escaping. I would recommend getting the next size up even for your newborn, unless they are really tiny at birth. That way it will last you longer :)

Next we tested the ErgoCocoon, also from Oopsie.com.au. I currently use this one all the time, its definitely my favourite. It zips up from both ways so you can easily change baby’s nappy or leave his legs out if its too hot. He is 9 weeks now and it is just starting to get too tight around his neck so I leave the zip down. I would recommend buying 2 of each size because they are that good. It’s made of 100% organic cotton.

Previous to these I was just using a wrapping blanket and every few hours arms would be out and wriggling. Since using both of these products Huxley has started to sleep through til 3.30am. It may be a coincidence or it may be these awesome swaddles!

We were also sent the Lil Fraser blanket. I love the colour and the lightweight fabric. Its thin enough to fit in my small nappy bag or leave in the bottom of the pram as an emergency blanket. I love that it is a large size (1.2m x 1.2m) perfect for wrapping any size baby! It comes in great colours too.
