Yoomi bottle review- push the button and the milk is warm!

We reviewed the Yoomi feeding system this week and have to say from first impressions it looked complicated. However once you sift through the information and find your stage 1 time (see video below) its very straight forward. You charge the warmer in the microwave for approx 2mins (depending on your stage 1 time- see video) then let it cool for 20mins in cold water or 75mins at room temperature. This is why I think it would be a good idea to have two warmers so you can alternate them. Once its cooled you make your milk up or thaw frozen breastmilk and pop it in the bottle then place the warmer in the top and press the button. after 60 seconds the milk is perfect breast milk temperature as it runs through the grooves of the warmer and into the teat.

The warmer lasts 150 times and comes with a check sheet on the manual so you can keep track. The warmer uses the same salt based liquid as those snap heat packs and is harmless if ingested but for added safety they have added  blue dye and Bitrex®, a safe but bitter substance that will ensure that even if there is a leak, baby will pull a disgusted face and you’ll know something’s up.

The Yoomi bottle is the perfect out and about bottle system. Before you leave the house just charge the warmer and your ready to go. I would recommend it to formula feeders and busy mums. When making a bottle usually takes 2-3 mins this bottle is the perfect temperature in 60 seconds. That makes for a happy baby and a happy parent!

We are giving away a Yoomi feeding system on our Facebook page!
